Product Description

LECCY+ is a powerful broad-spectrum fungicide formulated as a suspension concentrate (SC), combining Tebuconazole (6.7%) and Captan (26.9%). This unique dual-action formulation provides effective preventive and curative control of a wide range of fungal diseases in various crops such as fruits, vegetables, cereals, and ornamental plants. LECCY+ protects plants by inhibiting fungal growth and spore germination, reducing disease incidence and promoting healthy crop development and high yield.

Mode of Action

  • Tebuconazole (Triazole Fungicide): Inhibits fungal ergosterol biosynthesis → impairs cell membrane formation → disrupts fungal growth.

  • Captan (Phthalimide Fungicide): Acts as a multi-site contact fungicide → interferes with fungal enzymes → prevents spore germination and mycelial development.

  • Combined Action: Tebuconazole provides systemic protection while Captan offers strong contact action, offering complete disease management.

Benefits

  • Broad-spectrum disease control – Effective against powdery mildew, leaf spots, blights, fruit rots, rusts, and other fungal diseases.

  • Systemic + Contact Protection – Protects both existing and new plant tissues.

  • Prevents disease development and cures early infection – Protects plants before and after disease appearance.

  • Improves Crop Yield & Quality – Reduces disease damage, enhances plant health, and improves produce quality.

  • Crop-safe formulation – Suitable for a wide range of crops when used as recommended.

  • Resistance Management – Combining two modes of action helps delay fungal resistance.

Recommendations

  • Crops: Fruits, vegetables, cereals, pulses, and ornamental plants.

  • Dosage: 500–750 ml per acre in 150–200 liters of water, depending on crop type and disease pressure.

  • Timing: Apply at the first sign of disease or preventively during high-risk periods.

  • Method of Application: Uniform foliar spray ensuring full crop canopy coverage.

  • Precautions:

    • Avoid spraying under extreme heat or strong sunlight.
