NI-CAHEXA – Captan 70% + Hexaconazole 5% WP is a broad-spectrum systemic and contact fungicide formulated as a wettable powder (WP). It provides effective preventive and curative control of a wide range of fungal diseases in fruits, vegetables, and plantation crops. The combination of Captan and Hexaconazole offers dual action, delivering superior disease control, promoting healthy crop development, and enhancing crop yield and quality.
Captan (Contact Action): Acts on fungal spores and mycelium by disrupting enzyme activity and protein synthesis → prevents spore germination and fungal growth → provides a protective barrier.
Hexaconazole (Systemic Action): Inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis → disrupts fungal cell membrane formation → prevents fungal growth and spore germination → provides internal plant protection.
Combination Effect: Provides both surface protection and systemic action for effective control of existing infections and prevention of new ones.
