NICAMAN – Carbendazim 12% + Mancozeb 63% WP is a powerful broad-spectrum fungicide formulated as a wettable powder (WP). Combining systemic and contact action, NICAMAN provides excellent preventive and curative control of a wide range of fungal diseases in crops like cereals, fruits, vegetables, and plantation crops. This dual-action formulation ensures strong disease management, promotes healthy crop growth, and helps maximize yield and quality.
Carbendazim (Systemic Action): Inhibits fungal cell division by interfering with β-tubulin → prevents spore germination and mycelial growth → systemic curative action.
Mancozeb (Contact Action): Multi-site activity disrupting fungal enzyme systems → prevents spore germination and inhibits mycelial growth → acts as a protective barrier.
Combination Effect: Provides enhanced efficacy by combining systemic and contact modes of action → effective disease prevention and early infection control.
