NICATARA – Thiamethoxam 25% WG is a systemic, broad-spectrum insecticide formulated as a water-dispersible granule (WG). It belongs to the neonicotinoid group, designed for efficient control of sucking and chewing insect pests in a variety of crops including cereals, vegetables, fruits, pulses, and cotton. NICATARA provides fast action, translocation throughout the plant, and long-lasting protection, ensuring healthier crops and improved yield.
Neonicotinoid Action: Binds to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect’s central nervous system → overstimulation of nerves → paralysis and death of the pest.
Systemic Action: Absorbed by roots and translocated to all parts of the plant → protects new growth.
Contact & Stomach Action: Effective against insects through direct contact and ingestion.
Wide-spectrum control – Effective against aphids, whiteflies, jassids, leafhoppers, thrips, mealybugs, and other sucking and chewing pests.
