Mode of Action

• Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor Agonist: Cartap Hydrochloride binds to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in insect nerve cells → overstimulation of nerves → paralysis and death of insect pests.

• Soil Systemic Action: Absorbed by roots → translocated to shoots → protects entire plant.
