NICHITOP – Thiophanate Methyl 70% WP is a broad-spectrum systemic fungicide formulated as a wettable powder (WP). It provides preventive, curative, and eradicative control of a wide range of fungal diseases in cereals, fruits, vegetables, and plantation crops. NICHITOP is highly effective against soil-borne and foliar pathogens, ensuring strong crop protection and healthier, higher yields.
Systemic Action: Absorbed by plant tissues and translocated upward and downward, protecting both treated and new growth.
Fungal Growth Inhibitor: Inhibits cell division and disrupts fungal mitosis by interfering with β-tubulin assembly → prevents spore germination and mycelial growth.
Multi-Site Activity: Effective against a wide range of soil-borne and foliar fungal pathogens.
Broad-spectrum control – Effective against leaf spots, blights, scabs, anthracnose, powdery mildew, and soil-borne diseases.
Systemic & curative protection – Controls both existing infections and prevents new ones.
Long-lasting disease protection – Provides residual activity for extended crop safety.
Supports healthy crop establishment – Reduces fungal pressure during critical growth stages.
Improves yield and quality – Ensures disease-free crops with better productivity.
Compatible with IPM programs – Can be rotated with other fungicides for resistance management.
Flexible use – Effective for seed treatment, soil drench, and foliar application.
Crops: Wheat, rice, vegetables, fruits, cotton, tea, and plantation crops.
Dosage: 600–800 grams per hectare in 200–400 liters of water.
Timing: Apply at the first appearance of disease symptoms or under favorable conditions.
Method of Application: Foliar spray, soil drench, or seed treatment depending on target disease.
Precautions:
Use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Rotate with fungicides having different modes of action to avoid resistance.
Avoid spraying during heavy rainfall.
