NICHO-505 is a powerful, broad-spectrum insecticide combining Chlorpyriphos (50% a.i.) and Cypermethrin (5% a.i.) in an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation. This combination offers both rapid knockdown and long-lasting residual control of a wide range of chewing and sucking insect pests in crops like cereals, pulses, vegetables, cotton, and fruits. NICHO-505 provides a dual mode of action, making it highly effective for managing pest resistance and improving crop yield and quality.
Chlorpyriphos (Organophosphate): Inhibits acetylcholinesterase enzyme → accumulation of acetylcholine → continuous nerve impulse transmission → paralysis and death of insect pests.
Cypermethrin (Synthetic Pyrethroid): Disrupts sodium channels in insect nerve cells → rapid knockdown and death of adult insects and larvae.
Synergistic Effect: Combines fast knockdown (Cypermethrin) with long-term residual control (Chlorpyriphos).
Broad-spectrum pest control – Effective against aphids, whiteflies, jassids, stem borers, armyworms, mealybugs, leaf miners, caterpillars, and other sucking/chewing pests.
Rapid knockdown + extended protection – Fast action combined with long residual effect.
Dual mode of action – Prevents development of resistance.
Cost-effective high-concentration formulation – Treats larger areas with reduced application rates.
Improves crop health and yield – Minimizes pest damage and supports better growth.
Crops: Paddy, wheat, maize, pulses, cotton, vegetables, and fruit crops.
Dosage: 500–1000 ml per acre in 150–200 liters of water depending on pest pressure and crop type.
Timing: Apply at the first sign of pest infestation or as preventive treatment during high pest pressure periods.
Method of Application: Uniform foliar spray ensuring full coverage of crop canopy.
Precautions:
Avoid spraying in windy or rainy conditions.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Do not exceed the recommended dosage to avoid phytotoxicity and environmental impact.
