NICSLFO – Sulfosulfuron 75% WG is a highly effective selective post-emergence herbicide formulated as a water-dispersible granule (WG). It provides excellent control of a wide range of grassy and broadleaf weeds in wheat and other cereal crops. NICSLFO helps farmers maintain a weed-free environment during critical crop growth stages, leading to improved crop health, higher productivity, and superior grain quality.
ALS (Acetolactate Synthase) Inhibitor: Sulfosulfuron inhibits the acetolactate synthase enzyme in weeds → disrupts the biosynthesis of essential branched-chain amino acids → inhibits cell division and growth → results in weed death.
Systemic Post-Emergence Action: Absorbed by weed foliage and roots → translocated throughout the weed plant → effective control of emerged and emerging weeds.
Selective Action: Targets weeds while remaining safe for wheat and other recommended cereal crops.
Broad-spectrum weed control – Effective against wild oats, grass weeds, and broadleaf weeds such as wild mustard, chickweed, and turnip weed.
Promotes healthy crop establishment – Reduces competition for nutrients, light, and water.
Long residual control – Protects crops against multiple flushes of weeds for up to 30 days.
Easy application & handling – Water-dispersible granules mix well in water and spray uniformly.
Crop-safe formulation – Specifically designed for wheat and cereal crops when applied as recommended.
Resistance management solution – Unique mode of action helps reduce the development of weed resistance.
Crops: Wheat and other cereals.
Dosage: 25–35 grams per hectare in 200–300 liters of water.
Timing: Apply post-emergence at 2–3 leaf stage of weeds (20–30 days after crop emergence).
Method of Application: Uniform foliar spray ensuring full weed coverage.
Precautions:
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Avoid overdose to prevent crop phytotoxicity.
Do not apply during extreme heat or rainfall.
