Product Description

NIFIPRO – Fipronil 0.3% GR is a highly effective granular insecticide formulated for soil application. It provides broad-spectrum control of soil-dwelling and early-stage insect pests in crops such as rice, wheat, maize, vegetables, and pulses. Fipronil, a phenylpyrazole compound, acts systemically to protect plants from below-ground pests, preventing damage at the early growth stage. NIFIPRO ensures healthy crop establishment, better plant vigor, and higher yield potential.

Mode of Action

  • GABA-Gated Chloride Channel Antagonist: Fipronil blocks GABA-gated chloride channels in insect nerve cells → uncontrolled neural excitation → paralysis and death of the pest.

  • Soil Systemic Action: Absorbed by roots → translocated to shoots → provides protection against soil insects and early-stage pests.

  • Preventive & Curative: Controls pests before they appear visibly, ensuring early crop protection.

Benefits

  • Effective control of soil and early-stage pests – Controls stem borers, white grubs, mole crickets, termites, and other soil insects.

  • Granular formulation for easy application – Uniform and convenient soil application.

  • Long residual protection – Protects crops for up to 30 days after application.

  • Improves seedling establishment and growth – Reduces early-stage pest damage, promoting vigorous plant development.

  • Crop-safe formulation – Suitable for a wide range of crops when used as recommended.

  • Eco-friendly usage – Reduces pest population without affecting beneficial insects when used appropriately.
