Product Description

NIPROP – Propiconazole 25% EC is a highly effective systemic fungicide formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC). It provides powerful protection against a wide range of fungal diseases in crops such as cereals, fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants. NIPROP works by inhibiting fungal growth and spore germination, promoting healthy plant development, improving disease resistance, and maximizing crop yield and quality.

Mode of Action

  • Demethylation Inhibitor (DMI): Propiconazole inhibits the enzyme lanosterol 14α-demethylase → blocks ergosterol biosynthesis in fungal cell membranes → disrupts membrane integrity → prevents fungal growth and spore germination → leads to fungal death.

  • Systemic Action: Absorbed by leaves and translocated throughout the plant → provides preventive and curative disease control.

  • Protective and Eradicative: Controls both existing infections and prevents new infections from occurring.

Benefits

  • Broad-spectrum disease control – Controls leaf spots, rusts, blights, powdery mildew, and other fungal diseases.

  • Systemic and curative action – Provides protection to new growth and helps eradicate existing infections.

  • Promotes healthy crop growth – Prevents disease-related crop stress and supports vigorous development.

  • Improves yield and quality – Protects critical growth stages from fungal damage, enhancing productivity.

  • Easy application and handling – Emulsifiable concentrate formulation mixes uniformly in water for efficient spray.

  • Crop-safe formulation – Suitable for cereals, fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants when used as recommended.

Recommendations

  • Crops: Wheat, rice, fruits, vegetables, ornamental plants.

  • Dosage: 500–750 ml per hectare in 200–300 liters of water.
