PAHELI – Pyrazosulfuron Ethyl 10% WP is a highly effective selective post-emergence herbicide formulated as a wettable powder (WP). It provides excellent control of a wide range of annual and perennial grass and broadleaf weeds in rice fields. PAHELI is designed to promote healthy crop growth by eliminating weed competition, improving nutrient availability, and enhancing overall crop yield and quality.
ALS (Acetolactate Synthase) Inhibitor: Pyrazosulfuron Ethyl inhibits acetolactate synthase enzyme → blocks synthesis of essential branched-chain amino acids in weeds → inhibits weed cell division and growth → leads to weed death.
Selective Post-Emergence Action: Targets actively growing weeds without harming rice plants.
Systemic and Contact Action: Moves within the plant to control both surface and root-level weeds.
Broad-spectrum post-emergence weed control – Effective against grassy weeds like barnyard grass, small-flowered sprangletop, and broadleaf weeds.
Selective for rice crop – Controls weeds while being safe for rice when used as recommended.
Promotes better crop establishment – Reduces weed competition for nutrients, sunlight, and space.
Improves crop vigor and yield – Enhances rice growth by maintaining a weed-free environment.
Easy application and mixing – Wettable powder formulation disperses uniformly in water for effective spray.
Resistance management solution – Unique mode of action helps delay development of weed resistance.
Crop: Paddy (Rice).
Dosage: 30–50 grams per hectare in 200–300 liters of water.
Timing: Apply at 2–3 leaf stage of weeds (20–25 days after transplanting).
Method of Application: Uniform foliar spray covering the entire field.
Precautions:
Avoid application during windy or rainy conditions.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Do not exceed the recommended dose to prevent crop phytotoxicity.
