XACARB – Hexaconazole 4% + Carbendazim 16% SC is a powerful broad-spectrum systemic fungicide formulated as a soluble concentrate (SC). It provides excellent preventive and curative control of a wide range of fungal diseases in crops such as cereals, fruits, vegetables, and plantation crops. The combination of Hexaconazole and Carbendazim offers a dual-action mechanism, ensuring long-lasting protection and promoting healthier crop growth for higher yield and quality.
Hexaconazole (Systemic Action): Inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis → disrupts fungal cell membrane formation → prevents fungal growth and spore germination.
Carbendazim (Systemic Action): Interferes with fungal mitosis by inhibiting β-tubulin → prevents spore germination and mycelial growth.
Combination Effect: Dual action provides enhanced disease control, both preventive and curative, for a wide range of foliar and soil-borne diseases.
Broad-spectrum disease control – Controls leaf spots, blights, rusts, powdery mildew, anthracnose, and other major fungal diseases.
Dual mode of action – Prevents resistance development and improves efficacy against a wide range of pathogens.
Systemic and curative protection – Protects new and existing growth from infection.
Promotes healthy crop growth – Reduces fungal stress, ensuring vigorous and uniform development.
Improves yield and quality – Safeguards crops during critical stages to maximize productivity.
Easy application & handling – Soluble concentrate formulation mixes uniformly in water for efficient spray.
Compatible with integrated pest management (IPM) – Can be rotated or combined with other crop protection measures.
Crops: Wheat, rice, vegetables, fruits, tea, cotton, and plantation crops.
Dosage: 500–750 ml per hectare in 200–300 liters of water.
Timing: Apply preventively when disease conditions are favorable or at the first sign of infection.
Method of Application: Uniform foliar spray covering upper and lower leaf surfaces.
Precautions:
Use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Avoid spraying during hot, sunny hours or rain.
Do not exceed recommended dose to avoid crop damage.
